Deseret Nursery is a retail nursery dedicated to the production of feature
landscape perennials in large sizes that are selected for their durability, flowering
capabilities, heat tolerance, low water usage, and impact in the landscapes of the
Utah Wasatch Front Metropolitan Area.
We only sell what we grow. And we only have perennials and annuals. Our
perennials are grown in open conditions of high wind, heat and cold. Therefore our
perennials are 100% acclimatized, stocky with superior branching. This has resulted
in an exceptionally high success rate for the home gardener. We do not maintain a
list of the plants we grow, please call for availability. We also grow a limited amount
of summer annuals with an emphasis on low water usage. These are available in
late May, as well as a fall crop of pansies and accents, available approximately Oct. 5.
Deseret Nursery Perennial Farm has easy off/easy on access. Take Utah State
Expressway 201 West, and exit North on 5600 West, or US Interstate 80 and exit on
5600 West. Deseret Nursery is located midway at 5750 West California Avenue
(1400 South) adjacent to the City/County Landfill entrance. Telephone 801
414-9856. Our official spring opening date is the last Saturday in March. We
officially close for the season on November 1st. The operating hours are
Monday-Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Closed Sunday. The nursery on rare
occasions may be closed on days of severe inclement weather. We are typically on
the premises, or close by, and would be happy to accomadate you with any
pre-season or post season sales. Please call, Please visit. We want to make
